The Garden Hoe:
Ordinary hoe deficiencies:
1. The single rail hoe requires the user to grip the handle with the forward hand relatively close to the blade. This results in the user bending over to hoe or to chop.
2. Bending over means a shortened hoeing stroke and an awkward angle.
3. Bending over means short chopping motions in an awkward position.
The NicGrip Hoe:
1. The use of the movable tail in combination with the horizontal handle allows changes in angles during use to be accomplished via mechanical means, not just changing uncomfortable body positions.
2. The tail also facilitates drawing backwards or pushing forward because of the hand position.
3. The horizontal handle allows a more upright standing position. It can also be adjusted for various arm lengths and allowing for individualizing a comfortable hoeing angle.
4. Chopping is made easier, because the user is more upright.
This video shows the user assuming an uncomfortable position to use a conventional hoe, versus the more upright stance when using the NicGrip hoe. The same applies when cutting and
gripping the handle.
